This Standard applies to spiral-conveyers (hereinafter referred to as “conveyors”) that are used indoors such as logistics warehousing distribution centers, to continuously and automatically convey box-type items in the vertical direction. Spiral-conveyers for conveying other types of items may also refer to this Standard. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies. GB/T 191 Packaging - Pictorial marking for handling of goods GB/T 3811 Design rules for cranes GB 5226.1 Electrical safety of machinery - Electrical equipment of machines - Part 1: General requirements GB/T 8923.1-2011 Preparation of steel substrates before application of paints and related products - Visual assessment of surface cleanliness - Part 1: Rust grades and preparation grades of uncoated steel substrates and of steel substrates after overall removal of previous GB/T 9286-1998 Paints and varnishes - Cross cut test for films GB/T 13306 Plates GB/T 13384 General specifications for packing of mechanical and electrical product JB/T 7016 Storage/retrieval machine 3 Technical requirements 3.1 Basic requirements 3.1.1 Working environment conditions The working environment conditions of conveyors shall meet the following requirements: a) Ambient temperature: -5 °C ~ 40 °C; b) Relative humidity: the relative humidity shall not exceed 50 % at a temperature of 40 °C; the relative humidity can be appropriately increased when the temperature is low, but it shall not exceed 85 % and shall not condense; c) Altitude: not more than 1000 m; d) The power supply of conveyors is three-phase AC, the frequency is 50 Hz, the voltage is 380 V, the allowable deviation of the peak current to the frequency fluctuation is ±1 Hz, and the allowable deviation of the voltage fluctuation is ±10 %. NOTE: When the above working conditions are exceeded, it shall be resolved through negotiation between the user and the manufacturer. 3.1.2 Requirements for boxed items The box-type items handled by conveyors shall meet the following requirements: a) The mass of the item shall not be greater than 50 kg; b) Specifications and dimensions: length (350 mm ~ 900 mm) × width (150 mm ~ 500 mm) × height (50 mm ~ 500 mm); c) Maximum bearing capacity: 50 kg/m. 3.2 Main structure The main structure of conveyors is shown in Figure 1. 3.4.4 When the conveyor is working under full load, the upper frame and driving parts shall be stable and reliable, and there shall be no obvious vibration when the motor is running. 3.4.5 Pre-tightening force shall be applied to the chain transmission part. The pre- tightening force shall be able to prevent the chain from slipping off or jamming from the sprocket. 3.4.6 The chain plate shall be injection-molded with engineering plastics, with a smooth surface and no obvious defects such as pores and shrinkage. 3.4.7 The material of the chain plate shall have sufficient flexibility, and shall not be easily worn or broken when conveying box-type items that meet the specifications of 3.1.2. 3.4.8 The tensioning mechanism shall be convenient for manual adjustment or automatically realize the tension compensation of the chain. 3.4.9 The spiral angle shall generally not be greater than 15°, and it shall ensure that the conveyed items will not overturn during the conveying process. 3.4.10 The friction coefficient of the chain plate shall ensure that the items will not slide down during the conveying process. 3.5 Surface coating 3.5.1 All steel surfaces that need to be painted shall be pre-treated, and shall reach Grade Sa21/2 in GB/T 8923.1-2011. Manual rust removal shall meet the requirements of Grade St2. It shall also remove burrs, oxide scales, welding slag, oil pollution, etc. 3.5.2 The spray-painted or plastic-sprayed surface shall be smooth and uniform, with the same color and luster. The paint film or plastic coating shall be firmly attached. 3.5.3 The adhesion of the paint film shall meet the requirements of Grade 2 specified in GB/T 9286-1998. 3.5.4 All the untreated exposed surfaces of the mating steel parts shall be coated with anti-rust grease. 3.6 Performance requirements 3.6.1 Conveyors shall be able to work normally under the condition of carrying the rated load. The main structural parts of conveyors shall be able to withstand 1.25 times the rated load. The equipment shall have an overload protection alarm function when the rated load is exceeded. 3.6.2 Conveyors shall adopt a gentle start mode to ensure smooth start without impact and facilitate maintenance and adjustment. 3.6.3 The control system of conveyors shall be able to monitor the running status of conveyors, and have the functions of fault detection and alarm. 3.6.4 The conveying capacity of conveyors shall not be lower than the design value. 3.6.5 The failure-free rate of conveyors shall not be less than 97 %. 3.7 Noise The sound pressure level noise of conveyors during load operation shall not be greater than 85 dB(A). 3.8 Safety requirements 3.8.1 The electrical safety requirements of conveyors shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB 5226.1. 3.8.2 The metal structure of conveyors and the metal casings and metal pipe grooves of all electrical equipment shall be reliably grounded. The grounding resistance shall not be greater than 4 Ω. 3.8.3 The insulation resistance of conveyors shall not be less than 1 MΩ. 3.8.4 The control circuit shall have interlocking and protection functions, including: voltage loss protection, forward and reverse rotation interlocking of the drive motor, interlocking of different speed levels, short circuit and overcurrent protection. 3.8.5 Conveyors shall be equipped with an emergency stop switch. In case of emergency, it shall be able to cut off the power supply of the main conveying motor. The color of the emergency stop switch shall be red. 3.8.6 It shall equip sound and light alarm devices at the appropriate position of conveyors. The sound and light alarm signals shall be different during startup and failure. 4 Test methods 4.1 Test conditions 4.1.1 Unless otherwise specified, all tests shall be carried out under the environmental conditions required by 3.1.1. 4.1.2 The instruments, meters and measuring tools used in the test shall be within the qualification period of verification. 4.1.3 All lubricating points and reducers shall be filled with grease or lubricating oil as required. 5.3.2 If the type inspection fails, the factory-exit inspection shall be stopped, and the delivery of products that have been put into storage shall be stopped. The supply and demand sides of the delivered products shall negotiate to resolve the problem, analyze the reasons, and make improvements. After passing the type inspection again, the factory-exit inspection can be resumed. 6 Marking, packaging, transportation and storage 6.1 Marking Conveyors shall be installed with product plates in appropriate and obvious positions. The plates shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 13306 and shall contain at least the following contents: a) name of the manufacturer; b) product name and model; c) main parameters (including conveying speed, etc.); d) date of manufacture and serial number; e) implemented standard. 6.2 Packaging The packaging of conveyors shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 13384.
