1 Scope
GB/T 34939 provisions of this section ± 800kV DC epoxy fiberglass solid core column composite insulator (hereinafter referred to as
Edge) definition, characteristics, test classification, test methods and judgments.
This section applies to ± 800kV DC converter station power equipment and devices with solid pillar composite insulators.
Note. The insulators mainly bear bending, twisting load. Insulators may also be subject to tensile or compressive loads in some special cases.
This section does not apply to the switchgear insulator, nor is it suitable for epoxy glass fiber hollow core pillars composite insulators.
This section does not include the selection of insulators under special operating conditions.
