Foreword
This standard rule according to GB/T 1.1-2009 given draft.
This standard replaces GB/T 3282-2006 "titanium-iron."
The main changes in the standard of GB/T 3282-2006 compared as follows.
--- The FeTi50-A, FeTi50-B, FeTi60-A, FeTi60-B, FeTi70-C, FeTi80-A, FeTi80-B and eight FeTi80-C
Grades inclusion criteria;
--- Modified FeTi30-B, the carbon content FeTi40-B and FeTi70-C grade product requirements;
--- Modified silicon FeTi70-B and FeTi70-C grade products, aluminum content requirements;
--- Modified FeTi30-B, phosphorus content FeTi40-B grade product requirements;
--- Modified sulfur content FeTi70-B grade product requirements;
--- Modified FeTi30-A, manganese, copper content FeTi40-B and FeTi50-B grade product requirements;
--- Modify the product size requirements.
This revised standard adopts the International Standard ISO 5454. 1980 "Ferrotitanium specifications and delivery conditions" (in English).

Adopting ISO 5454. 1980, the present standard do some modifications relating to technical differences have been incorporated into the text in which they are involved.

3.1 Grades and chemical composition
3.1.1 in terms of titanium and titanium-iron impurity content divided into 15 grades, chemical composition shall comply with the requirements in Table 1.
