1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of infrared diamond films.
This standard applies to infrared optical components on the coating of infrared diamond film.

3 terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
In the infrared band can play a role in the anti-reflection and protection of a carbon amorphous polymer film.

4 classification
Infrared diamond film according to its band can be divided into the following three categories.
a) short-wave infrared band (1μm ~ 3μm) of the infrared diamond-like film;
b) Infrared diamond film with medium wave infrared band (3μm ~ 5μm)
c) long-wave infrared band (8μm ~ 12μm) of the infrared diamond-like film.
Note. The above three bands for the infrared optical film of the nominal band, according to the specific requirements to determine the plating band.
5 technical requirements
5.1 Coating area
The coated area shall cover the effective diameter of the optical element. If the effective light diameter is not specified, the uncoated area shall be in accordance with Table 1.
