This standard is published since 1997, it has been widely used. This revision is mainly based on the existing Geometrical Product Specifications
(GPS) standard system and consider coordination with the relevant standards to be modified.
This standard replaces GB/T 3177-1997 "smooth workpiece size test", the main changes are as follows.
