This document applies to the proton exchange membrane fuel cell backup power system (hereinafter referred to as the "PEMFC backup power system") and also meets the requirements of
The following conditions are sufficient.
---Rated electrical output power ≤10kW;
---Output AC or DC;
---Use hydrogen as fuel;
---Not used as a standing power supply and the continuous working time is ≤72h.
PEMFC backup power systems with rated power exceeding 10kW shall refer to this document.
A typical proton exchange membrane fuel cell backup power system is shown in Appendix A.
This document applies to PEMFC backup power supplies for commercial, industrial and domestic use in areas where the surrounding environment of the equipment is non-hazardous (unclassified).
This document does not address safety requirements for installation sites.
Note. This document only considers dangerous situations that may cause harm to people, objects or the environment outside the PEMFC backup power system.
The safety regulations for this document do not include safety measures to be taken when there is a possibility of damage to the PEMFC backup power system itself.
