The grades of steel are made in the order given below.
1) in mm as a unit, the material nominal thickness of 100 times.
2) Characteristic characters.
--- W said non-oriented electrical steel;
--- G indicates high magnetic induction.
3) the maximum specific loss value of the magnetic polarization intensity at 1.5T and the frequency at 50Hz, W/kg and the corresponding thickness of the product
100 times.
Example. 50WG400 represents a non-oriented electrical steel with a nominal thickness of 0.50 mm and a maximum negative total loss of P1.5/50 of 4.0 W/kg.
