This standard and GB/T 12004.5-1992 main technical differences are as follows.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of particle size of PVC paste coarse grind with a scraper.
This standard applies to the determination of PVC paste coarse particle size.
Principle 2
PVC paste is placed on the measuring device, scratches appear by moving the blade, testing PVC paste coarse particle size.
