This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 20919-2007 "Electronic Digital External Micrometer". This standard is compared with GB/T 20919-2007 except that
In addition to the editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Expand the measurement range of the digital micrometer outer diameter micrometer to 1000mm (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2007 edition);
--- Modify the definition of the digital display micrometer digital display device (see 3.1,.2007 version 3.1);
--- Increased the definition of the electronic digital outer diameter micrometer (see 3.2);
--- Increased the digital micrometer outer diameter micrometer with a micrometer screw pitch of 2mm (see 4.2.1);
--- Increased the electronic digital display micrometer with a range equal to 50mm and its maximum allowable error (see 4.2.2, 5.11);

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of electronic digital external micrometer, type and basic parameters, requirements, inspection methods, test methods, and targets.
