Foreword
This standard rule according to GB/T 1.1-2009 given draft.
This standard replaces GB/T 17256-1998 "Disabled athletes cycling and archery Medical and functional classification."
The original standard GB/T 17256-1998 has compared the following major changes.
--- Rating bicycle is more emphasis on functionality and not only medical grade rating;
--- No longer based on disability category CP, LC, HC, B
--- More and more will biomechanics, kinematics and physiology principles to sports bike classification;
--- Added Appendix A;
--- Modified archery athletes level contents;

1 Scope
This standard specifies the criteria for Disabled Medical and functional classification of cycling and archery athletes.
This standard applies to visual disabilities, athletes with spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, amputations and other physical disabilities.
2 Cyclists rating
Classification 2.1 Bicycle
Bike competition is divided into four types, athletes with disabilities to use a different type of bicycle according to type of disability.
H. Manually bike (including the original HCA-C-class athletes, and some choose to participate in a bicycle race without manually choose two wheels
Original LC2 and LC3 class athletes race).
T. tricycle (including the original CP1-2 class athletes).
C. bicycles, athletes use two bikes (including the original LC1-4 and CP3-4 class athletes).
B. tandem bicycle, the visually impaired to use a tandem bicycle.
