This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 17217-1998 "Urban Public Toilet Hygiene Standards", compared with GB/T 17217-1998, the main technology

Hygienic Code of Public Toilets
1 Scope
This standard specifies the hygienic requirements and hygienic evaluation indicators and thresholds for the planning, design, construction, and management of public toilets.
This standard is applicable to new, rebuilt and expanded fixed public public use in cities, villages, tourist areas and expressway service areas.
Planning, design, construction, management and hygiene evaluation of shared toilets and public restrooms set up in public places. Existing public toilets, school

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Publictoilet
Set up fixed toilets for public use in public activity places.
Note. According to whether it is attached to other buildings, it is divided into independent public toilets and attached public toilets.

Innocuous sanitary toilet
Sanitary toilets with facilities to effectively reduce the infectiousness of biological pathogenic factors in feces.
