Based on the need for batch or interactive electronic data interchange processing, this section covers data exchange in electronic messaging in an open environment.
Application-level rules for the structure. The UN Economic Commission for Europe (UN/ECE) has agreed to use these rules for administrative, commercial and operational purposes.
Application-level grammar rules for EDI Data Exchange. These rules are the UN Trade Data Exchange Directory (UNTDID)
a part of. UNTDID also includes batch and interactive message design guides.
This section can be used for a variety of applications. If the message conforms to other guidelines, rules, and directories in the UNTDID, then the report using these rules
