The partial modification of international standard IEC 60255-20. 1984 "Electrical relays - Part 20. Protection System" (in English).
For ease of use, this section made the following editorial changes.
a) 'this International Standard' to replace the word 'this section';
b) with a decimal point '. 'Instead of as a decimal point,' ';
c) Remove the preface to international standards.
This Part replaces GB/T 14598.8-1995 "Electrical relays - Part 20. Protection System."

1 Scope
GB/T 14598 provisions of this part of the whole protection system and each part of the composition of performance requirements.
This section applies to the protection of the system and its performance impact protection devices and protective devices connected to it.
This section applies to the following objects.
--- Protection system or its components manufacturer;
--- User protection system;
--- Control panel factory;
--- Electrical equipment installers;
--- Consultant engineer.
