This standard replaces GB/T 12628-1990 "hard disk drive General technical requirements."
This standard and GB/T 12628-1990 main difference is as follows.
--- GB/T 12628-1990 covers only 3.5in hard disk drive, increase this standard 2.5in hard disk drive;
--- Increased hard disk sheet, data transfer rate, the key terms of time to prepare, interface, start and stop testing;
--- Delete the original standard disk drive - temperature (s), the head disk assembly, recording mode, the recording density, magnetic flux reversal density track
Density, cylinder, formatted capacity, spindle motor start time, stop time of the spindle motor, the maximum seek time, the average rotational latency
Term time, track defects, bad codes;
--- Increasing the schematic structure, shape and installation diagram, increased the average seek time, data transfer rate, preparation time and other major properties
Performance metrics;
