Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 38304-2019 "Hand Protection Gloves for Cold Weather". Compared with GB/T 38304-2019, the only changes are structural adjustments. Aside from editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows. ---The scope of application has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2019 edition); ---The requirements for convection cooling and contact cooling of gloves have been changed (see 4.1,.2019 version 4.1); ---The test methods for abrasion resistance, tear resistance, and water resistance have been revised (see 5.2.1, 5.2.2, and 5.4; 5.2.1 and 5.2.2 in the.2019 version). and 5.4); ---The test location and temperature requirements for flexural destructive testing have been changed (see 5.3 and Appendix A, 5.3 in the.2019 edition); ---The test location for low-temperature bending performance has been changed (see 5.5 and Appendix B, 5.5 in the.2019 edition); ---The test location for convection cooling has been changed (see 5.6 and Appendix C, 5.6 and Appendix A in the.2019 edition); ---The test location for contact with cold has been changed (see 5.7 and Appendix D, 5.7 and Appendix B in the.2019 edition); ---Identification requirements have been changed (see Chapter 6, Chapter 6 of the.2019 edition); ---The information requirements for manufacturers have been changed (see Chapter 7, Chapter 7 of the.2019 edition). Please note that some content in this document may involve patents. The issuing organization of this document assumes no responsibility for identifying patents. Note. Expressed using convective thermal resistance. 3.2 Contact cold In heat conduction, gloves have the ability to prevent heat transfer. Note. Represented by contact thermal resistance. 4.Technical Requirements 4.1 General Rules The gloves shall meet the requirements given in Table 1, wherein at least one of the requirements for convection cooling and contact cooling shall be met. Table 1 Glove Requirements Gloves required for use at temperatures above -30°C; gloves suitable for use at temperatures between -50°C and -30°C. 4.2 ▲ ▲ 4.3 ▲ ▲ 4.4 △ △ 4.5 ▲ ▲ 4.6 - ▲ 4.7 ▲ ▲ 4.8 ▲ ▲ Note 1."▲" indicates that the requirements should be met. Note 2."△" indicates that the gloves should meet the requirements when they have a coating material. Note 3."-" indicates no requirement. 4.2 Basic Requirements It should comply with the relevant requirements specified in GB 42298. 4.3 Mechanical Properties 4.3.1 Wear resistance When tested according to the method specified in 5.2.1, the abrasion resistance should at least meet the requirements of Grade 1 shown in Table 2.(Based on the different grades of convection cooling and contact cooling...) Similarly, the minimum abrasion resistance level requirements will differ, see 4.7 and 4.8. Table 2 Abrasion Resistance Rating Performance level 1, 2, 3, 4 Wear resistance (number of friction cycles) 100 500.2000 8000 4.3.2 Tear Resistance When tested according to the method specified in 5.2.2, the tear resistance shall at least meet the requirements of Grade 1 as shown in Table 3.(Based on convection cooling and contact cooling grades...) Similarly, the minimum tear resistance rating requirements may differ; see 4.7 and 4.8. Table 3 Tear Resistance Rating Performance level 1, 2, 3, 4 Tear strength/N 10 25 50 75 4.4 Resistance to flexural damage When tested according to the method specified in 5.3, no cracks should be produced. This requirement does not apply to uncoated materials. 4.5 Water resistance When tested according to the method specified in 5.4, no penetration is represented by grade 1, and penetration is represented by grade 0.If it is grade 0, the manufacturer's information will indicate this.
