This document outlines the types of foot protection equipment and specifies the selection, use, and maintenance of such equipment.
This document applies to foot protection equipment designed to prevent physical and chemical injuries.

4.Types of Foot Protective Equipment
4.1 Foot Protection Footwear
4.1.1 Classification
The classification of foot protection footwear is shown in Table 1.

Code Name Classification
Class I footwear refers to shoes made of leather and/or other materials, excluding shoes made entirely of rubber or polymer materials.
Class II shoes are shoes made entirely of rubber (i.e., fully vulcanized) or entirely of polymeric materials (i.e., fully molded).
A shoe with a mixed lower half made of Class II shoe materials and processes, and an upper half made of Class I shoe materials.
4.1.2 Style
The design of foot protection footwear is shown in Figure 1.

4.2 Other Foot Protection Equipment
Other foot protection equipment is classified as protective socks, protective shoe covers, etc., based on its protective performance, product form, or workplace.
5.Selection of Foot Protection Equipment
5.1 General Requirements
5.1.1 Foot protection equipment shall comply with GB.20098 and the requirements of relevant product standards.
