Foreword
This revised standard adopts ISO 15516.2006 "Ships and marine technology dipping lifeboat lowering device" (in English).
This standard is based on ISO 15516.2006 Translation drafted. Listed in Appendix A of this standard reg number and ISO 15516.2006 chapter
Article No. Control List.
Taking into account China's national conditions, in the use of ISO 15516.2006, the standard of this made some changes. About the technical differences have been incorporated into the text

reference.
This standard and ISO 15516.2006 main technical differences are as follows.
--- Modify the Chapter 2 of the first paragraph;
--- Deleted 3.4 terminology;
--- Deleted the first paragraph of 4.3;
--- Deleted Table 1 "by the Administration" and "weight of less than 550kg of the rescue boat shall be required by the Administration";
--- In Table 2, in the "fast rescue boat loaded with" add "(6)";
--- 5.2.5.4 and 5.3.6 will be merged;
--- 5.4.7 and 5.4.8 will be merged;
--- Delete the contents of 8.4.
For ease of use, this standard also made the following editorial changes.

3 Terms and Definitions
GB/T 3893 and identified the following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
