1 Scope
This standard specifies the method of wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy in the field of forensic science to check the composition of paper elements.
This standard is applicable to the analysis of elemental composition and comparison of paper physical evidence in the field of forensic science. It can also be used in other fields.

4 Principle
When the sample is irradiated with strong X-rays, the atoms of each component element are excited to produce secondary characteristic X-rays, namely
X-ray fluorescence. Different elements have characteristic X-ray lines of different wavelengths, and the intensity of each line is in a certain degree with the concentration of the element
Relationship, the wavelength and intensity of the characteristic X-ray spectrum of the element to be measured can be analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively.
In the papermaking process, some fillers, pigments, etc. will be added to increase the performance of the paper, due to the fiber raw materials, fillers, rubber compounds and process strips used.
