1 Scope

This standard specifies the determination of textile fiber content of chitosan colloid titration method. This standard applies to chitosan fibers and cellulose fibers, protein fibers, polyester fibers, nylon, polyvinyl alcohol, polyurethane, cellulose acetate fibers, triacetate Ester fibers and other mixtures. This standard does not apply to finishing agent containing chitosan textile products. NOTE. chitosan fiber identification methods, see Appendix A.
