This Part is Part 4-3 of GB/T 5838. This Part was drafted in accordance with the rules provided in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Part serves as a replacement of GB/T 10308-1988 Phosphor Y1 for Oscilloscope Tubes and Display Tubes, GB/T 10309-1988 Phosphor Y14 for Oscilloscope Tubes and Display Tubes and GB/T 10317-1988 Phosphor Y10 for Oscilloscope Tubes and Image Display Tubes. In comparison with GB/T 10308-1988, GB/T 10309-1988 and GB/T 10317-1988, this Part has the following main changes. ---The three standards GB/T 10308-1988, GB/T 10309-1988 and GB/T 10317-1988 were integrated into one standard; ---Chapters “Foreword”, “Normative References” and “Requirements” are added (see Chapter 2 and Chapter 3); ---The content of designation is deleted from the title of the Standard; ---The requirement for the water-soluble chloride content of phosphors becomes more rigorous (see 3.6); ---The requirement for the mass center particle size of phosphors becomes more rigorous (see 3.5). Phosphors - Part 4-3.Phosphors for Oscilloscope Tubes and Display Tubes 1 Scope This Part specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and storage of phosphors for oscilloscope tubes and display tubes. This Part is applicable to phosphors for oscilloscope tubes and display tubes. 2 Normative References The following documents are indispensable to the application of this document. In terms of references with a specified date, only versions with a specified date are applicable to this document. In terms of references without a specified date, the latest version (including all the modifications) is applicable to this document. GB/T 191 Packaging - Pictorial Marking for Handling of Goods GB/T 31418.3-2015 Phosphors - Part 3.Test Methods for Properties 3 Requirements 3.1 Chemical Composition Y1-G1 Zn2SiO4  Mn (zinc silicate  manganese) Y10-B1 ZnS  Ag  Ni (zinc sulfide  silver  nickel) Y14-YG2 ZnS  Cu (zinc sulfide  copper) 3.2 Mechanical Impurities Contain no mechanical impurities. 3.3 Appearance Y1 phosphors and Y10 phosphors are white powder; Y14 phosphors is light green powder. 3.4 Density Y1-G1 (4.10  0.02) g/cm3; Y10-B1 (4.06  0.02) g/cm3; Y14-YG2 (4.06  0.02) g/cm3. 3.5 Particle Size Y1-G1, mass center particle size (d50). (3.0  1.0) m; logarithmic standard deviation (ln ). 0.45  0.10; Y10-B1, mass center particle size (d50). (5.0  1.0) m; logarithmic standard deviation (ln ). 0.25  0.10; Y14-YG2, mass center particle size (d50). (10.0  1.0) m; logarithmic standard deviation (ln ). 0.30  0.10. 3.6 Water-soluble Chloride Content The water-soluble chloride content of phosphors for oscilloscope tubes and display tubes shall not exceed 0.002%. 3.7 Crystallographic Form Y1-G1 triangular crystal form; Y10-B1 cubic crystal form; Y14-YG2 cubic crystal form. 3.8 Luminous Color Y1-G1, emits green light when excited by cathode rays or 254 nm ultraviolet light; Y10-B1, emits blue light when excited by cathode rays or 365 nm ultraviolet light; Y14-YG2, emits yellow-green light when excited by cathode rays or 365 nm ultraviolet light. 3.9 Chromaticity Coordinates Y1-G1 x = 0.218  0.005; y = 0.712  0.005; Y10-B1 x = 0.147  0.005; y = 0.080  0.005; Y14-YG2 x = 0.275  0.010; y = 0.584  0.010. 3.10 Lumen Efficiency Y1-G1 not lower than 38.0 lm/W; Y10-B1 not lower than 17.0 lm/W; The demand-side shall inspect the received products in accordance with the provisions of this Standard. When they fail to comply with the provisions of this Standard, the demand-side shall submit it to the supply-side within 3 months from the date of receipt of the products, and the demand-side and the supply-side shall resolve the matter through negotiation. If arbitration is required, it shall be conducted by a professional inspection institution jointly recognized by both the demand-side and the supply-side. 5.2 Batch Group The phosphors shall be submitted for acceptance inspection in batches. The phosphors products of the same designation, and continuously produced from the same batch of raw materials under the same conditions shall be considered as an inspection batch. 5.3 Inspection Items The inspection items are divided into exit-factory inspection and type inspection. 5.4 Exit-factory Inspection Each batch of phosphors shall undergo exit-factory inspection for mechanical impurities, particle size, water-soluble chloride content, chromaticity coordinates, lumen efficiency and afterglow time. 5.5 Type Inspection The density and relative spectral power distribution shall be subject to type inspection. The inspection cycle is one year. 6 Marking, Packaging, Transportation and Storage 6.1 Product Markings On the packaging container of the phosphors, there shall be the following markings. a) Supply-side’s name and address; b) Product name, designation and net mass; c) Production date and batch No.; d) Markings that comply with the provisions of GB/T 191 for Avoid Sun Exposure, Keep Away from Radiation and Keep Away from Rain. 6.2 Packaging The phosphors shall be placed in clean, sealed, moisture-proof, light-proof and secure containers. ......
