This document is applicable to tower-type, trough-type and linear Fresnel solar thermal power plant. 2 Normative References Through the normative references in this text, the contents of the following documents constitute indispensable clauses of this document. In terms of references with a specified date, only versions with a specified date are applicable to this document. In terms of references without a specified date, the latest version (including all the modifications) is applicable to this document. GB/T 31464 The Grid Operation Code 3 Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document. 3.1 Solar Thermal Power Plant Solar thermal power plant refers to a system that converts solar energy into thermal energy and generates electricity through the thermal power conversion process. NOTE: generally, it includes collector system, thermal storage / exchange system and power generating system. 3.2 Collector System Collector system refers to a system that gathers and coverts solar energy into thermal energy. 3.3 Thermal Storage System A system that stores and utilizes the heat output by the collector system. NOTE: It usually consists of heat storage container, heat storage medium, power system, pressure protection system, auxiliary heater and thermal insulation system. 3.4 Heat Exchange System Heat exchange system refers to a system that performs heat exchange between a heat transfer medium and other fluids of different temperatures. 3.5 Generating System Generating system refers to a system that converts thermal energy into electrical energy. NOTE: generally, it is composed of steam generation system and equipment, steam turbine equipment and system, electrical equipment and system, water treatment equipment and system, etc. 3.6 Efficiency of Collection Field of Point-focus Solar System Efficiency of collection field of point-focus solar system refers to the ratio of the total energy obtained by the heat transfer medium from the collection field to the total direct normal solar radiation incident on the area of the daylight opening of the collection field in a period of time. 3.7 Annual Efficiency of Solar Thermal Power Plant Annual efficiency of solar thermal power plant refers to the ratio of the power generation of the solar thermal power plant to the direct normal solar radiation projected on the daylight area of the collection field in a year. 3.8 Temperature-drop when the Storage Level is 100% during Time “24 h” Temperature-drop when the storage level is 100% during time “24 h” refers to the temperature difference from the initial temperature after 24 h when the hot salt tank in the thermal storage system is full of heat. NOTE: the unit of the temperature drop when the storage level is 100% during time “24 h” is (C). 3.9 Thermal Energy Storage Hours Thermal energy storage hours refer to the hours of operation of the solar thermal generator set at the rated power that can be satisfied by the effective heat released by the thermal storage system. 3.10 Annual Equivalent Utilization Hours Annual equivalent utilization hours refer to the ratio of the total power generation (MW  h) of the solar thermal power plant to the total rated power (MW) of the electric generator in a year. 3.11 Annual Water Consumption Rate per kW  h c) operation data documents of at least one full year, such as: power generation, meteorological data, irradiation data and water consumption, etc. 5 Performance Evaluation of Collector System 5.1 Tower-type 5.1.1 Quality inspection The quality inspection shall include the following content: a) inspect whether the appearance of heliostats, heat absorbers, valves and pipelines are intact and free of defects; b) inspect whether the inspection and certification reports and exit-factory certificates of heliostats, heat absorbers and heat transfer media, as well as the system integration and commissioning reports, and acceptance inspection reports are effective and complete. 5.1.2 Performance indicators The performance indicators shall include: the efficiency of collection field of point-focus solar system, the annual operating hours, the annual failure and outage hours, the number of annual failures and the mean time between failures, etc. The calculation method of the efficiency of collection field of point-focus solar system shall comply with Appendix B. NOTE: the annual operating hours are calculated in accordance with the working hours of the heat absorber. 5.2 Trough-type 5.2.1 Quality inspection The quality inspection shall include the following content: a) inspect whether the appearance of heat collectors, valves and pipelines is intact and free of defects; b) inspect whether the inspection and certification reports and exit-factory certificates of reflectors, collector tubes, rotary joints, actuators and heat transfer media in the collector system, as well as the system integration and commissioning reports and acceptance inspection reports are effective and complete. 5.2.2 Performance indicators The performance indicators shall include: the efficiency of collection field of point-focus solar system, the annual operating hours, the annual failure and outage hours, the number of annual failures and the mean time between failures, etc. The calculation method of the efficiency of collection field of point-focus solar system shall comply with Appendix B. 5.3 Linear Fresnel Type The linear Fresnel type performance evaluation of the collector system of the solar thermal power plant may be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the trough-type performance evaluation of the collector system of the solar thermal power plant. 6 Performance Evaluation of Thermal Storage / Exchange System 6.1 Quality Inspection The quality inspection shall include the following content: a) inspect whether the appearance of storage tanks, heat exchangers, valves and pipelines are intact and free of defects; b) inspect whether the inspection and certification reports and exit-factory certificates of key components of the thermal storage / exchange system, such as: thermal storage media, storage tanks, heat exchangers and valves, as well as the system integration and commissioning reports and acceptance inspection reports are effective and complete. 6.2 Performance Indicators The performance indicators shall include: the thermal energy storage hours, the temperature drop when the storage level is 100% during time “24 h”, the annual wastage of the thermal storage / exchange media, the efficiency of the heat exchanger, the annual operating hours, the annual failure and outage hours, the number of annual failures and the mean time between failures, etc. 7 Performance Evaluation of Generating System 7.1 Quality Inspection The quality inspection shall include the following content: a) inspect whether the inspection and certification reports of key equipment and systems, such as: steam turbines and generators, as well as the system integration and commissioning reports, and test and acceptance inspection reports are effective and complete; b) whether the grid-connected operation of the steam turbine generator set complies with ......
