This standard replaces HG/T 3427-2001 “Sulphur black 2BR, 3B (200%)”.
This standard was proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry
Association.
This standard shall be under the jurisdiction of the National Dye
Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC 134).

1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection
rules, marking, labeling, packaging, transportation and storage of sulphur black
2BR, 3B 200% (C.I. sulphur black 1, double sulfide black) products.
This standard applies to the product quality control of sulphur black 2BR, 3B
200%.

Note. 6% (owf) is equivalent to light black stain standard depth.
4 Sampling
TAKE samples by batch, using the products mixed uniformly by the
manufacturer for one time as a batch. The number of barrels sampled per
batch shall comply with the requirements of 7.6 in GB/T 6678-2003. The
packaging of the sampled product must be intact AND do not allow external
contaminants to fall into the product during sampling. USE the probe to take
sample from the top, middle, and bottom parts of the barrel; the total amount of
sample taken is not less than 200 g. Fully MIX the sample uniformly; CONTAIN
it into two clean, dry and sealed vessels; ATTACH labels; INDICATE the
product name, lot number, manufacturer name, sampling date and location;
USE one for inspection and another for reference.
5 Test method
5.1 Evaluation of appearance
USE visual inspection for evaluation.
5.2 Determination of dyeing colour and strength
5.2.1 General conditions for dyeing
The general conditions for dyeing shall comply with the relevant provisions of
GB/T 2374-2007. Dyeing shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions
of GB/T 2376-2003.
5 g of dyeing cotton or cotton yarn, bath ratio 1.40, AND dyeing depth. 1.5%
(owf).
5.2.2 Preparation of dyeing solution
Accurately WEIGH 1.5 g of the standard dyeing sample and 1.5 g of sample
(accurate to 0.0005 g); respectively PLACE it into a 300 mL beaker; ADD 22.5
mL of 100 g/L sodium sulfide solution [dye. sodium sulfide (by 100%) = 1.1.5];
fully STIR it uniformly; ADD 200 mL of boiling water; fully STIR to dissolve it.
After cooling it to room temperature, TRANSFER it into a 1000 mL volumetric
flask; USE water to dilute it to the mark; the dyeing solution shall be prepared
before use, AND it is not allowed to use the solution overnight.
The dyeing solution formulation is as shown in Table 3.
