This Document is applicable to chopped basalt fibers for cement concrete and mortar. 2 Normative References The provisions in following documents become the essential provisions of this Document through reference in this Document. For the dated documents, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable to this Document; for the undated documents, only the latest version (including all the amendments) is applicable to this Document. EXAMPLE 1: The labeling of the crack-proof and anti-cracking chopped basalt fiber strands for concrete with a nominal diameter of 20μm and a nominal length of 25mm is as follows: BF S 20μm-25 GB/T23265 EXAMPLE 2: The labeling of the toughening and reinforcing chopped basalt fiber plied yarn for concrete with a nominal diameter of 200μm and a nominal length of 40mm is as follows: BZ T 200μm-40 GB/T23265 5 General Requirements 5.1 The products included in this Document shall not cause harm to humans, organisms and the environment; and shall comply with the relevant standards and specifications for safety and environmental issues related to production and use. 5.2 The raw materials for the production of chopped basalt fiber shall be basalt or igneous rocks with basalt as the main component, which are melted at high temperature and then drawn by a sieve plate to produce uniformly dispersed continuous fibers. 5.3 The appearance of chopped basalt fiber shall be golden brown. 5.4 Chopped basalt fiber shall be used in accordance with the specific dosage provided by the manufacturer. The mixing method of the test concrete or mortar during construction shall be carried out in accordance with the mixing method provided in the instructions of the test product. 6 Technical Requirements 6.1 Appearance quality The chopped basalt fiber has uniform color and no surface pollution. 6.2 Dimension deviation 6.2.1 The length deviation of chopped basalt fiber shall be no greater than ±2mm of the nominal length. 6.2.2 The diameter deviation of chopped basalt fiber should be no greater than ±10% of the 625℃ for no less than 30min, and the sample shall be cooled to room temperature 20℃±5℃ in a dryer before the test. 7.3.5 Moisture content The moisture content of basalt fiber shall be determined according to the method specified in GB/T 9914.1. 7.3.6 Combustible matter content The combustible matter content of basalt fiber shall be determined according to the method specified in GB/T 9914.2. 7.3.7 Alkali-resistant tensile stress retention rate The alkali-resistant tensile stress retention rate of the plied yarn shall be determined according to the method specified in Appendix C. The alkali-resistant tensile stress retention rate of the strand shall be determined according to the method specified in Appendix D. 7.4 Performance test of cement concrete and mortar mixed with chopped basalt fiber 7.4.1 Test environment The test shall be carried out indoors at a temperature of 20℃±5℃. The raw materials for mixing concrete or mortar shall be transported indoors in advance and the storage time shall be no less than 24h. 7.4.2 Test materials 7.4.2.1 Cement Cement with a P•O42.5 shall comply with the provisions of GB 175. 7.4.2.2 Sand Medium sand with a mud content of less than 1% shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 14684. 7.4.2.3 Stone Crushed stone with a particle size of 5mm~20mm shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 14685. 7.4.2.4 Water It shall meet the requirements of JGJ 63. 7.4.2.5 Admixtures It shall meet the requirements of GB 8076-2008. 7.4.2.6 Fiber Chopped basalt fiber to be tested. 7.4.3 Preparation of concrete and mortar 7.4.3.1 Concrete The mix ratio of the reference concrete and the test concrete shall be designed according to JGJ 55 and shall comply with the following provisions: a) The concrete strength grade is C30; b) When using admixtures and other concrete admixtures, the concrete mix ratio shall be adjusted according to the requirements of the corresponding standards; c) Chopped basalt fiber: the recommended dosage of the test fiber provided by the client; d) Water consumption of the reference concrete: to make the slump of the concrete reach 180mm±20mm. The test concrete and the reference concrete use the same mix ratio, only the fiber content is increased. 7.4.3.2 Mortar The mass mix ratio of cement, sand and water in the reference mortar is: 1:1.5:0.5. The mass mix ratio of cement, sand and water in the test mortar is: 1:1.5:0.5; and the chopped basalt fiber is the recommended dosage of the test fiber provided by the client. 7.4.3.3 Measuring and mixing of concrete and mortar The measuring and mixing of concrete and mortar shall comply with the following provisions: a) The raw materials for the test shall be weighed and measured, and the accuracy of mass weighing is: ±0.2% for cement, water, admixtures and chopped basalt fiber; ±0.5% for sand and stone. b) If a 60L or 100L forced concrete mixer is used, and the mixing volume shall be controlled between 10L and 45L to ensure uniform mixing. The material input and mixing time are generally: sand, stone, cement, water and admixture are mixed for 60s to 90s; and then the fiber is added and mixed for 25s to 35s. After the material is discharged, it is manually turned over on the iron plate for 2 to 3 times before test. c) If a 15L mortar mixer is used to mix the mortar, and the mixing method is carried out in accordance with the mixing method of concrete. 7.4.4 Test piece preparation, curing and number of specimens required for testing 7.4.6.3 Bending toughness (energy absorption value) The bending toughness (energy absorption value) is measured according to the method in Appendix E. 7.4.6.4 Concrete impact strength ratio The concrete impact strength ratio is measured according to Appendix G of GB/T 21120-2018. 8 Inspection Rules 8.1 Exit-factory inspection 8.1.1 Exit-factory inspection items It includes appearance, size, density, moisture content, and combustible matter content. 8.1.2 Batching rules Products of the same variety, specification, production process, and stable and continuous production are a batch. Each batch is 10t, and less than 10t is also a batch. 8.1.3 Sampling and retention of samples Take batch as a unit, 1kg of samples are taken for each batch. The samples of each batch are divided into two equal portions, one is inspected according to the specified items; and the other is sealed and stored for half a year in preparation for re-inspection or arbitration. 8.1.4 Judgment rules After the product is inspected, if the performance indicators of the test fibers meet the requirements of this Document, the batch of fibers is judged to be qualified. If they do not meet the requirements of this Document, the batch of fibers is judged to be unqualified. 8.2 Type inspection 8.2.1 Type inspection conditions Type inspection shall be carried out in any of the following situations: a) When the new product or old product is transferred to the factory for trial production and identification; b) After formal production, if there are major changes in materials and processes, which may affect product performance; c) During normal production, inspection shall be carried out at least once a year; d) When the production is stopped for more than half a year and then resumed; e) When the exit-factory inspection results are significantly different from the last type inspection. 8.2.2 Type inspection items It includes all technical requirements in Clause 6. 8.2.3 Batching rules The same as 8.1.2. 8.2.4 Sampling and sample retention Take the batch as a unit. The sampling quantity of each batch is 2kg of Type-S fiber and 10kg of Type-T fiber. Each batch of samples is divided into two equal portions, one is inspected according to the specified items; and the other is sealed and kept for half a year in preparation for re-inspection or arbitration. 8.2.5 Judgment rules After product is inspected, if the performance indicators of chopped basalt fiber meet the requirements of Clause 6, the batch of chopped basalt fiber shall be judged to be qualified; if it does not meet the requirements of Clause 6, the batch of chopped basalt fiber shall be judged to be unqualified. 9 Marking, Exit-Factory, Packaging, Transportation and Storage 9.1 Marking The following content shall be marked on all packages in a prominent position: product name, mark, net mass, manufacturer name, factory address, production date, this Document number, etc. If there is a trademark, it shall be marked on the product package. Labor protection tips shall be specially marked on the packaging. 9.2 Exit-factory 9.2.1 Product that has any of the following conditions shall not leave the factory: a) Defective products; b) Incomplete technical documents (product instructions, certificates, inspection reports); Appendix A (Normative) Test Method for Breaking Strength and Tensile Strength of Plied Yarn A.1 Overview This method is applicable to the test for breaking strength and tensile strength of chopped plied yarn with a fiber length of no less than 30 mm. For plied yarn with a fiber length of less than 30 mm, the supplier shall provide homogeneous products with a fiber length of no less than 30 mm for this item test. A.2 Principle Under specified conditions, the chopped plied yarn is stretched to break on a tensile testing machine, and the breaking strength measurement value of the specimen is obtained from the data display and acquisition system, and the tensile strength is obtained by calculation. A.3 Apparatus The apparatus includes: a) Tensile testing machine, precision level 1; b) Electric constant temperature blast drying oven, controllable temperature 100℃, accuracy ±2℃. A.4 Materials The materials are mainly adhesive sheets and fiber adhesives. A.5 Test method A.5.1 Test conditions A.5.1.1 Specimen processing a) The specimen shall be divided into four parts in the provided sample. b) Place the specimen in an oven at 50℃±2℃ and dry for 1h±5min. Cool to room temperature in the dryer and reinforce both ends of each fiber (the length of the reinforced part at both ends of the fiber is no less than 10mm) with adhesive sheets and fiber adhesive to ensure that the fiber length of the middle test part is equal to 10mm±1mm. Appendix B (Normative) Test Methods for Breaking Strength, Tensile Strength, Elastic Modulus and Elongation at Break of Strand B.1 Overview This method is applicable to the determination of breaking strength, tensile strength, elastic modulus and elongation at break of strand with a length of no less than 15mm. During the test, the monofilament or protofilament of strand is taken. For strand with a length of less than 15mm, the supplier shall provide homogeneous products with a length of no less than 15mm for this item test. B.2 Principle Take a single fiber from the strand and stretch it to break on a constant-speed elongation tensile tester under specified conditions. The measured values of tensile properties such as breaking strength, tensile strength, elastic modulus, and elongation at break of the specimen are obtained from the load-elongation curve or data display and acquisition system. B.3 Apparatus The main apparatus includes: a) Fiber strength tester: load measurement range: can adapt to the maximum load requirements of the specimen. Load measurement error: ±1%. Load measurement resolution: 0.001N. Elongation measurement range: 100mm. Elongation measurement error: ≤0.05mm. Elongation measurement resolution: 0.1%. Lower clamp descending speed: continuously adjustable. Clamp spacing: 1mm~20mm continuously adjustable. Lower clamp stroke: 100mm. With load-elongation curve output function or initial modulus automatic calculation function; b) Microscope: should be able to meet the measurement value, accurate to 0.5μm, magnification 400~1000; c) Electrothermal constant temperature blast drying oven: with controllable temperature of 100℃, accuracy of ±2℃. B.4 Test method B.4.1 Test conditions Appendix C (Normative) Test Method of Alkali-Resistant Tensile Stress Retention Rate of the Piled Yarn C.1 Overview This method is applicable to the test of alkali-resistant tensile stress retention rate of plied yarn with a length of no less than 30mm. For plied yarn basalt fiber with a length of less than 30mm, the supplier shall provide homogeneous products with a length of no less than 30mm for this item test. C.2 Apparatus The apparatus includes: a) Tensile testing machine: accuracy level 1; the test force value shall be within the range of 20%~80% of the instrument range; and have displacement control function; b) Electrothermal constant temperature blast drying oven: with controllable temperature of 100℃, accuracy of ±2℃; c) Water bath: temperature control range (0~100)℃, accuracy ±2℃; d) Balance: graduation value is 0.1g; e) Measuring cup: range is 1000mL; f) Storage container with lid, mixer, and spatula. C.3 Materials The materials include: a) Reference cement, which meets the requirements of Appendix A of GB 8076-2018; b) Distilled water; c) Adhesive sheet and adhesive. C.4 Test method C.4.1 Test conditions Appendix D (Normative) Test Method of Alkali-Resistant Tensile Stress Retention Rate of Strand D.1 Overview This method is applicable to the test of alkali-resistant tensile stress retention rate of strand. During the test, strand basalt fibers with a length of no less than 15 mm are used. For strand basalt fibers with a length of less than 15 mm, the supplier shall provide homogeneous products with a length of no less than 15 mm for this item test. D.2 Apparatus The apparatus includes: a) Strength extensometer: precision level 1; the test force value shall be within the range of 20%~80% of the instrument range; strength measurement resolution: 0.001N; lower clamp descending speed: continuously adjustable; clamp spacing: 1mm~20mm continuously adjustable; b) Electrothermal constant temperature blast drying oven: controllable temperature 100℃, accuracy ±2℃; c) Water bath: temperature control range (0~100)℃±2℃; d) Measuring cup: range 1000mL; e) Storage container with lid and mixer. D.3 Materials The materials include: a) Reference cement, in accordance with the requirements of Appendix A of GB 8076-2018; b) Distilled water; c) Adhesive sheet and adhesive.
