Foreword
This Standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Standard replaces GB/T 2040-2008 “Sheet of copper and copper alloy”.
Compared with GB/T 2040-2008, the main changes in this Standard are as follows.
- ADD 5 designations, i.e. TFe0.1, TFe2.5, H66, HSn88-1, BZn18-26 and the
corresponding requirements;
- ADD the code name of copper and copper alloys;
- MODIFY the designation and state of alloys;
- MODIFY the specification range of pure copper, oxygen-free copper and TCr0.5
sheets;
- MODIFY the performance of some sheets;
- DELETE the provisions of Rockwell hardness;
- MODIFY the “Dimension measurement method” TO “The test method for
dimension of sheets is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 26303.3”;
- ADD the reference to YS/T 482 “Methods for analysis of copper and copper alloys
- The atomic emission spectrometry” and YS/T 483 “Methods for analysis of
copper and copper alloys - X-Ray fluorescence spectrometric (wavelength
dispersive)”;
- MODIFY the tensile test sample number according to the provisions of GB/T
228.1-2010;
- ADD the provision of “The sampling method shall comply with the provisions of
YS/T 668; the sample for mechanical properties and process performance shall
be prepared according to the provisions of YS/T 815”.
This Standard is proposed by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association.
The Standard is under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee on Nonferrous
Metals of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 243).

3 Requirements
3.1 Product classification
3.1.1 Designation, state and specification
The designation, state and specification of sheets shall comply with the provisions of
Table 1.
2010. The Vickers hardness test method shall comply with the provisions of GB/T
4340.1.
4.4 Bend test
The bend test method for sheets shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 232.
4.5 Grain size
The grain size test method for sheets shall comply with the provisions of YS/T 347.
4.6 Electrical properties
4.6.1 The resistivity test method for sheets shall comply with the provisions of GB/T
351 or YS/T 478, and the arbitration shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 351.
4.6.2 The resistance temperature coefficient test method for sheets shall comply with
the provisions of GB/T 6148.
4.6.3 The thermo-electromotive force test method for sheets shall comply with the
provisions of GB/T 6147.
4.7 Surface quality
The surface quality of sheets shall be inspected visually.
5 Inspection rules
5.1 Inspection and acceptance
5.1.1 The sheets shall be inspected by the technical supervision department of the
supply party, to ensure that the product quality comply with the provisions of this
Standard (or the order contract); the quality certificate shall be filled.
5.1.2 The demand party shall inspect the products received in accordance with the
provisions of this Standard and the order (or contract). If the inspection result is
