Standard Adjacent Fabric of Linen and Ramie
1 Subject Contents and Applicable Scope
This Standard specifies the main specifications and test methods for the standard
adjacent fabric of linen and ramie for the color fastness test of the textiles.
This Standard is applicable to the production of the linen and ramie of standard
adjacent fabrics for the assessment of staining grade in the color fastness test of
textiles; and accept whether it has standard staining characteristics.
2 Principle
In order to test whether the staining performance satisfies the standard, a 40°C color
fastness to washing test shall be conducted. The combined specimen consists of a
dyed reference fabric, a reference adjacent fabric, and a to-be-tested adjacent fabric;
after the test, use the grey scale to assess the staining.
