1 Scope
This Standard specifies the minimum allowable values of the energy efficiency, energy
efficiency grades, test methods and inspection rules of hermetic motor-compressor in
room air conditioners (hereinafter referred to as compressor).
This Standard is applicable to hermetic rotor compressor and vortex compressor in
room air conditioners whose input power is not more than 5,000 W under the nominal
working condition. Compressor that is merely adopted for accessories repair in room
air conditioners is not applicable to this Standard. Compressors for other similar
purposes can take this Standard as a reference in application.

of references with a specified date, only versions with a specified date are applicable
to this Standard. The latest version (including all the modifications) of references

Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency for compressors refers to the minimum
allowable values of the coefficient of performance (COP) of compressors under the
stipulated working conditions.
