This standard replaces LY/T 1091-1993 "Oyster Bowl Silicone".
Compared with LY/T 1091-1993, the main changes of this standard are as follows.
--- In the original standard, the "Oak Bowl" was changed to "Rubber" and the standard name was changed to "Rubber";
--- Revised the provisions of the technical requirements in the classification of grades, the special grade, first grade, two grades into superior products, first-class products, qualified products;
--- Removed the requirement for "non-tannin" in the technical requirements;
--- Adjusted the value of the "Tanning" indicator in the technical requirements;
--- The inspection rules have added the contents of the inspection classification, inspection items, and group approval rules;
--- Revised the rules for the determination rules and re-examination rules in the inspection rules;
--- Modified the requirements for packaging, marking, storage and transportation.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Chemically treated rubber gum. It can be dissolved in cold water below 30 °C. Formulated to a concentration of 2% solution, no turbidity. Put 1 drop of solution
On the medium-speed qualitative filter paper, the color of the dispersed surface is uniform.
3.2
A silicone that does not require any chemical treatment and requires heat to be completely dissolved. The 2% silicone solution was cloudy. Put 1 drop of solution in medium speed qualitative filter paper
