Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 39077-2020 "Detection method for harmful phases in economical austenitic-ferritic duplex stainless steel" and
Compared with GB/T 39077-2020, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The terms and definitions have been changed (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the 2020 edition);
b) Added sampling requirements for large-section products, flanges, and welded joints (see Chapter 4);
c) Added “electrolytic etching reagents and electrolytic parameters” in the microstructure examination method (see 5.2.3);
d) Added the corrosion solution in the ferric chloride corrosion test method (see 5.4.3.2.2);
e) Added the inspection and result determination methods for harmful phases in 22Cr duplex, 25r duplex and 27Cr duplex stainless steels (see
5.2.4, 5.2.5.2, 5.3.2, 5.3.3, 5.4.4, 5.4.6).

Harmful phases in austenite-ferrite (duplex) stainless steel
Detection Methods1 ScopeThis document specifies the test conditions, test methods and acceptance requirements for the detection of harmful phases in austenitic-ferritic (duplex) stainless steel.
The methods include microstructure inspection, Charpy impact test and ferric chloride corrosion test.
This document applies to austenitic-ferritic (duplex) stainless steel during production, manufacturing process (such as heat treatment or welding) or long-term exposure to a certain temperature.
Use the test of precipitation of harmful phases under low temperatures.
This document does not apply to conditions where the toughness and corrosion resistance of austenitic-ferritic (duplex) stainless steels are reduced due to other reasons.
Note. For the product brands that this document is mainly applicable to, please refer to Appendix A.2 Normative referencesThe contents of the following documents constitute the essential clauses of this document through normative references in this document.
