This standard replaces GB/T 14665-1998 "mechanical engineering CAD drawing rules."
This standard and GB/T 14665-1998, compared the main technical changes are as follows.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the rules for drawing with mechanical engineering computer-aided design (hereinafter referred to as CAD) time.
This standard applies to display, draw computers and peripheral equipment, mechanical engineering drawings to print and related technical documents.
This standard is GB/T 18229 supplementary mechanical CAD drawing.
