Eddy current testing is a non-destructive testing method that uses the electromagnetic effect of induced current in conductive materials to evaluate the test piece. The measured quantity is related to the distribution of the induced current and is represented by a complex plane vector. The distribution of eddy currents in the depth direction of the material follows the laws of physics, and the eddy current density decays rapidly with increasing depth. Excitation, the eddy current density decay changes exponentially with depth.
