Foreword

This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Standard replaces TB/T 2948-1999, Technical specification for rubber air shield of railway passenger car, and TB/T 3094-2004, Gangway bellows for railway passenger car. Compared with TB/T 2948-1999 and TB/T 3094-2004, the major changes of this Standard are as follows. -- it adds the passage requirements for wheel chairs and small catering trucks (see 5.7); -- it adds the technical requirements for the assembly of rubber vestibule diaphragm (see 6.1.3); -- it adds the content of pressure-tight vestibule diaphragm for electric multiple units (see 6.2); -- it adds the pressure-tight requirements under pressure load (see 6.2.1.16); -- it adds the content of exterior vestibule diaphragm (see 6.3); -- it adds the content of iron vestibule diaphragm (see 6.4); -- it adds the basic structures and compositions of all types of vestibule diaphragm (see Annex A, Annex B and Annex C). Scope

This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, working conditions, main characteristics, technical requirements, test, inspection results, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of vestibule diaphragm of locomotive and rolling stock. This Standard applies to vestibule diaphragm of locomotive and rolling stock of standard gauge railway (hereinafter referred to as vestibule diaphragm); and this Standard may be referred to for other locomotives and rolling stocks.

Modification of GB/T 4549.4-2004, Definition 4.1.4. 3.6 ring sealed rubber vestibule diaphragm Vestibule diaphragm which is made by forming rubber material into U-shaped cross section through vulcanization or other technique and assisting with aluminium alloy or other profiles. 3.7 exterior vestibule diaphragm A part which is installed at the end of car body and made of metal framework and rubber profiles or composite materials, to reduce drag, mainly including compression- type exterior vestibule diaphragm and non-contact-type exterior vestibule diaphragm. 4 Working conditions 4.1 Environmental temperature. - 40°C ~ + 40°C. 4.2 Relative humidity (when the average minimum temperature of the month is 25°C). ≤ 95%. 4.3 Altitude. ≤ 1 500 m. 4.4 Maximum air speed. ≤ 15 m/s, and occasionally 33 m/s. 5 Main characteristics 5.1 Passage width. ≥ 800 mm (not including area where there is protective apron at the bottom). 5.2 Passage height. ≥ 1 885 mm. 5.3 Curve negotiating capability. complying with the requirements for minimum curve radius negotiating test for car. 5.4 Air-tightness. free from the influences of dirt, dust, water and snow. 5.5 Thermal-insulation performance. good thermal insulation performance. 5.6 Sound-isolation performance. good sound-isolation performance. 5.7 It shall have a smooth space for the rapid passage of passengers, especially the smooth passage of wheel chairs and small catering trucks. 6.2.1.6 When a hoisting installation bears load, the height, levelness and perpendicularity of the connection framework of vestibule diaphragm shall be adjustable. 6.2.1.7 When pucker vestibule diaphragm is not coupled, vestibule diaphragm shall be hung securely at the end of car body. 6.2.1.8 During coupling and uncoupling, rapid coupling connection, locking and uncoupling and separation shall be achieved; and the time of coupling or uncoupling shall not be greater than 20 min. For integrated vestibule diaphragm which is connected directly to end wall through bolts, the time of coupling or uncoupling shall not be greater than 50 min. After vestibule diaphragm is uncoupled, it shall be convenient for the overhaul and coupling of gangway foot plates and door sill plates. 6.2.1.9 For vestibule diaphragm in which decorating plates are not installed, the gap between vestibule diaphragm and mechanism of gangway foot plates and door sill plates shall be provided with protective measures to prevent personal injuries caused by entry into the gap. 6.2.1.10 For vestibule diaphragm in which decorating plates are installed, the strength of decorating plates shall ensure that passengers can lean against it. The movement of decorating plates shall be flexible; there shall be no abnormal sound; and it shall not compromise personal safety. 6.2.1.11 Wear parts shall have good wear-resistant performance. 6.2.1.12 Metal surface shall not have visible scratches; and sheared edges or blanked edges shall be free from burrs. 6.2.1.13 The surface of rubber capsules shall be smooth without infiltration of foreign matters or attachments; no defect such as scars, cracks, bubbles and peels, is allowed; and rubber has no exposed cord thread. Each rubber capsule shall not have more than two defects (or impurities) which will not influence its usability; the area of each defect shall not be greater than 1 cm2; and the depth shall not be greater than 1 mm. 6.2.1.14 Heat transfer coefficient K ≤ 5.0 W/(m2·K), including the heat transfer coefficient of double-deck pucker vestibule diaphragm K ≤ 3.5 W/(m2·K). 6.2.1.15 Weighting noise reduction quantity NRw ≥ 26 dB, including the weighting noise reduction of double-deck pucker vestibule diaphragm NRw ≥ 34 dB. 6.2.1.16 Good air-tightness shall be maintained under specified pressure load after assembly. For the pressure reduction intervals and times of the air pressure in pressure-tight vestibule diaphragm see Table 2. 6.4.3.1 After assembly, the gaps between vestibule diaphragm frame and diaphragm door frame shall be consistent on the right and left. 6.4.3.2 The joint faces between plates shall be coated with antirust paint. 7 Test 7.1 Minimum negotiating curve radius 7.1.1 Test method 7.1.1.1 Test bench simulation test Mount vestibule diaphragm on the negotiating curve test bench and couple it. Simulate the motion state of vestibule diaphragm when the train shall be capable of negotiating minimum constant-radius curve and minimum constant-radius reverse curve. Carry out the test for three times. 7.1.1.2 Running test Running test shall be carried out as specified in TB/T 2218-2010. 7.1.2 Inspection When the maximum positions are achieved in each test state, stop to carry out the following inspection. a) whether the locking is reliable, whether tarpaulin and rubber capsule etc. has any crack or pull-out, whether the welded places of connection framework cracks or fractures, and the sealing conditions; b) whether there is any interference or damage between all parts; c) whether the fasteners become loose or damaged. 7.2 Air-tightness test 7.2.1 Test preparation Air-tightness test shall be carried out after curve negotiating performance test.
