Foreword
This document was drafted in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020
"Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of
standardizing documents".
This document replaces QC/T 29087-1992. Compared with QC/T 29087-1992, in
addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
- ADD relevant terms and definitions (see Chapter 3):
- ADD the classification of common lap joints for automotive sheet metal parts, flat
lap joints, lap joints with flanges (see Chapter 4):
- ADD the limit deviation requirements of welding dimensions without tolerance
indications corresponding to different lap joints of automotive sheet metal parts
(see Chapter 4);
- ADD the limit deviation requirements for welding dimensions without tolerance
indications for nuts and studs (see Chapter 5):
- ADD the limit deviation requirements for dimensions without tolerance indications
for profile welding structures (see Chapter 7);
- DELETE the limit deviation of angles without tolerance indications (see 2.2 of the
1992 edition).

1 Scope
This document specifies the limit deviations of dimension without tolerance indications
in automotive parts affected by welding processes.
This document applies to the limit deviations of dimensions and angles without
tolerance indications of automotive sheet metal parts and profiles formed after welding.
This document does not apply to weldment dimensions and weld dimensions which are
checked according to the main model.

document through normative references in the text. Among them, for dated references,
only the version corresponding to that date applies to this document; for undated
references, the latest version (including all amendments) applies to this document.
