1 Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, statistical scope, and calculation
methods of comprehensive energy consumption per unit output of automobile products.
This document is applicable to the calculation of comprehensive energy consumption
per unit output of automobile products.
2 Normative references
The following documents contain the provisions which, through normative reference in
this document, constitute the essential provisions of this document. For the dated
referenced documents, only the versions with the indicated dates are applicable to this
document; for the undated referenced documents, only the latest version (including all
the amendments) is applicable to this document.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 total comprehensive energy consumption of automobile products
In the statistical reporting period, the physical quantities of various energy sources that
is actually consumed during the entire production process of automobile products.
3.2 comprehensive energy consumption for unit output of automobile products
During the statistical reporting period, the ratio of the comprehensive energy
consumption of automobile products to the total amount of qualified products produced
in the same period.
4.2.3 The energy consumed for heating and cooling of the production system and
supporting production system activities shall also be included in the scope of
comprehensive energy consumption statistics.
4.2.4 The loss of energy and energyconsumed medium due to the internal storage,
conversion, distribution, and supply of the energyconsuming organization shall also be
included in the comprehensive energy consumption.
4.3 Types of comprehensive energy consumption statistics
4.3.1 The types of energy statistics for comprehensive energy consumption of
automobile products include primary energy, secondary energy, and energy consumed
by the outsourced energyconsumed medium.
Note 1: Primary energy refers to energy resources that exist in the original forms in nature and have not
been processed.
Note 2: Secondary energy refers to energy products converted from primary energy processing.
4.3.2 The part of the energyconsumed medium that comes from the selfproduction of
the enterprise shall be counted according to the energy consumption corresponding to
the production, and the outsourced energyconsumed medium shall be converted in
accordance with the requirements of Appendix B.
4.3.3 The energy consumed by the compressed air produced by the enterprise itself shall
be converted according to the electricity consumed by the working of the compressor.
4.4 Statistical period
The statistical period shall be a certain period of continuous production, and the
statistical period shall be at least not less than 12 natural months.
4.5 Statistics on the number of automobile products
The number of automobile products to be counted shall be the number of qualified
automobile products produced within the statistical period.
5 Calculation method
5.1 Calculation method of energy consumption of production system
The energy consumed by the production system in the production process of automobile
products is calculated according to the formula (1):
