This standard replaces LY/T 1338-1999 "Plate Chipper Parameters" and LY/T 1339-1999 (Plate Chipper Manufacturing and Inspection)
Receive technical conditions.
The main changes in this standard compared with LY/T 1338-1999 and LY/T 1339-1999 are as follows.
--- Adjusted the sketch and main parameter series;
--- Revised the requirements of the electrical system;
--- Increase the coaxiality requirements of the two bearing journals of the main shaft and the journal of the cutter head from 8 to 7;
--- Cancel the hardness rules of the flying knife, the bottom knife and the side knife;
---Adjusted the assembly quality requirements;
--- Revised test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, storage.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the main parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of the disc chipper.
This standard is applicable to disc chippers (hereinafter referred to as chippers) for papermaking, wood-based panel production and other purposes.
