Introduction
Authenticity inspection of remote sensing products is a process of independently evaluating the accuracy and uncertainty of remote sensing products based on reference data.
The ground observation field is one of the basic conditions for the authenticity test of remote sensing products.
Provide important ground support with a series of processes such as Verification of authenticity of terrestrial remote sensing products
The obtained observation data satisfies the temporal continuity.
At home and abroad, research and practice on site selection and layout of ground observation sites for effective verification of the authenticity of terrestrial remote sensing products have been carried out.
Ground observation stations and observation plots for authenticity verification of terrestrial remote sensing products. In order to support different surface observation stations and observation plots
The popularization and application of the obtained data in the authenticity test of remote sensing products has formulated a scientific and standardized ground view for the authenticity test of terrestrial remote sensing products.
Site selection and observation system layout standards.
Verification of the authenticity of terrestrial remote sensing products at ground observation sites
Site selection and layout
1 Scope
This document specifies the nomenclature, general rules for site selection, general requirements for site selection, routine
Observation deployment, ground observation deployment of remote sensing products to be inspected, and ground observation field reports.
This document is applicable to the site design and construction of ground observation sites and the layout of observation instruments for authenticity verification of terrestrial quantitative remote sensing products.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 39468-2020 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Observing instruments and facilities are installed to obtain ground observation data required for the authenticity verification of remote sensing products, and remote sensing synchronous observation and processing are carried out.
A dedicated site for intensive observation.
3.2
The ground measurement unit corresponding to the spatial resolution of the remote sensing product to be inspected is deployed in the ground observation field.
3.3
observingpoint
The location of the observations laid out in the basic sampling unit.
Note. Observation includes automatic observation instrument, manual operation observation instrument or manual sampling indoor measurement, etc.
3.4
footprint
A function describing the relationship between the spatial distribution of a surface source or sink in the near-surface layer and the value of the instrumentally observed flux.
Note. Also known as the source weight function.
3.5
Observing source area
The area where footprint observations make a major contribution to the observed value.
