Introduction

The safety standard system in the field of machinery consists of the following types of standards. --- Class A standard (basic safety standard), giving the basic concepts, design principles and general characteristics applicable to all machinery. --- Class B standard (general safety standard), involving a safety feature of machinery or a class of safety devices with a wide range of use. ● Class B1, standard for safety features (such as safety distance, surface temperature, noise); ● Class B2, safety devices (such as two-hand control devices, interlocking devices, pressure-sensitive devices, protective devices) standards. --- Class C standard (machine product safety standard), a standard that specifies detailed safety requirements for a specific machine or a group of machines. According to GB/T 15706, this document belongs to category B1 standard. This document is particularly relevant to the following stakeholders related to machinery safety. --- machine manufacturer; --- Health and Safety Agency. Other stakeholders affected by the level of machinery safety are. --- machine users; --- the owner of the machine; --- service providers; --- Consumers (for machinery intended for use by consumers). All of the above-mentioned stakeholders may have participated in the drafting of this document. In addition, this document also applies to standardization bodies drafting C standards. The technical requirements in this document may be supplemented or modified by Type C standards. For machines that are within the scope of the C-type standard and have been designed and manufactured in accordance with the C-type standard, the requirements in the C-type standard should be preferred. 1 Scope

This document specifies the determination of autonomous mobile machinery based on the movement speed and braking capability of the human body or body parts and autonomous mobile machinery. Requirements and methods for dynamic safety distances from the human body or parts of the human body. This document applies to the determination of dynamic safety distances between autonomous mobile machines and the human body or parts of the human body. This document does not apply to situations where the human body is approached by running, jumping or falling, nor does it apply to dynamic safety measures for children under the age of 14. 3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 15706-2012 and GB/T 19876-2012 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Used to determine the actual location of a hazard, hazardous point or machine part and its location within the total response time (T) to achieve the expected risk reduction The distance to the boundary of the danger zone that may be reached by changing the setting. 3.2 brakingcapability The ability to slow down hazards, hazardous points, machine parts, or the speed of machine movement. 3.3 A safety precaution that maintains a minimum safe distance between the human body or parts of the human body and the danger zone to achieve risk reduction. NOTE. The safety distance depends on several factors, such as the approach speed and direction of the body part, the speed, direction and positioning of the hazard, electro-sensitive protective equipment (ESPE) detection capability, response time of safety-related components of the control system, etc. 3.4 Safeguardedspace The area or space enclosed by guards and/or guards used to protect persons.
