1 Scope
This Standard stipulates the sample preparation, test method and test report
for the determination of the rubbing resistance of artificial leather and synthetic
leather.
This Standard applies to the determination of the rubbing resistance of artificial
leather, synthetic leather and finished products.
2 Normative references

3 Sample preparation
3.1 Requirements
The surface of the sample shall be flat, smooth, and free of flaws, such as
cracks, bubbles, pinholes, that affect the performance of the material. The
samples shall be evenly distributed and sampled across the width of the whole
product.
3.2 State adjustment
According to the requirements of GB/T 2918-2018, under the environment
where the temperature is (23 ± 2) °C and the relative humidity is (50 ± 10) %,
after the sample condition is adjusted not less than 24 h, perform the test under
this condition.
3.3 Sample cutting
Sample size and quantity: the length is (120 ± 2) mm; the width is (30 ± 0.3)
mm. Respectively cut 2 pieces vertically and horizontally.
