This standard specifies the test principle, instrument, sample and state adjustment, puncture speed, test step of puncture resistance of plastic film and sheet.

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Puncture resistance punctureresistance
The ability of the film and sheet to resist penetration by the puncture needle.
Note. expressed in terms of puncture resistance, puncture resistance or puncture elongation.
3.2
Puncture resistance anti-punctureforce
The maximum force required for the needle to penetrate the specimen vertically.
3.3
Puncture resistance anti-puncturestrength
The puncture resistance of the sample unit thickness.
3.4
Puncture elongation
After the puncture needle contacts the sample, the force value reaches the pre-stress as the starting point until the displacement distance of the puncture needle when the sample penetrates.
4 Principle
The sample is fixed between the two clamping rings, and the puncture needle vertically spurs the center position of the sample at a constant rate, and records the sample subjected to the puncture.
