1 Scope
This standard specifies the physical medium related (PMD) layer interworking requirements of the GPON system, the transmission convergence (TC) layer interworking requirements, and the operation tube.
Maintenance and Maintenance (OAM) function interworking requirements, ONT Management Control Interface (OMCI) protocol interworking requirements, and service related function interworking requirements.
This standard applies to GPON equipment.
