1 Scope
This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test
methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transport, storage and safety of
1,1,1,2-Tetrafluoroethane for automobile air-conditioning use (aerosol product).
This Standard is applicable to automobile air conditioning refrigerant that uses
1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane as raw material, packaged in aerosol can (less than
1L) produced by the filling process.
This Standard is not applicable to reusable aerosol can type products.

a) when key production process updated, mainly changes on main raw
b) production resumed after production discontinued;
c) major mass accident occurred;
d) significant difference between previous type inspection;
e) when quality supervision agency required by law;
f) when user has special requirements. Randomly extract and mix 2 samples from the factory inspection items
to ensure that each sample contains 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane not less than
1000 g. One sample is used as a sample for 4.4 refrigerant quality inspection,
and the other is used as a backup sample.
6.4 Rules for determination
6.4.1 As technical requirements 4.1~4.3, if the inspection indicator of the tested
sample is unqualified, it shall be re-examined twice from the same batch of
products for re-inspection. The re-inspection results shall prevail. If the retest
result is still exceeding the quality limit, the batch is determined as unqualified.
6.4.2 Technical requirements 4.4 refrigerant quality inspection items shall be
carried out according to the comparison method of the repair value in GB/T
8170. If the test results do not meet the requirements of this Standard, it shall
be re-extracted twice from the same batch of products for re-inspection. The
result of re-inspection is that even if only one indicator does not meet the
requirements of this Standard, the whole batch of products shall be unqualified.
6.4.3 The determination rules for exit-factory inspection and type inspection
shall be the same.
7 Marks, packaging, transport and storage
7.1 Marks
7.1.1 The packaging container of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane for automobile air-
conditioning use (aerosol product) shall have firm and clear mark, indicating the
following information.
a) product name and trademark;
b) manufacturer name and address;
c) net content;
