Methods for chemical analysis of antimony and antimony trioxide
Determination of copper content - Flame atomic absorption spectrometry
1 Scope
This section provides antimony trioxide and determination of copper content.
This section applies to the determination of antimony trioxide and copper content. Measurement range. 0.0002% to 0.30%.
2 Method summary
Sample with nitric acid or hydrochloric acid and hydrobromic acid dissolved and evaporated to dryness, repeat adding hydrobromide volatile except antimony. In dilute hydrochloric acid medium, using air - B
Alkyne flame atomic absorption spectrometer the absorbance at a wavelength of 324.7nm measured at copper, antimony trioxide and other impurities do not interfere
Determination.
3 Reagents
3.1 commercially available reagents
3.1.1 hydrochloric acid (ρ1.19g/mL).
3.1.2 nitrate (ρ1.42g/mL).
3.1.3 hydrobromic acid (ρ1.50g/mL).
3.2 solution
3.2.1 hydrochloric acid (1 + 1).
3.2.2 nitric acid (1 + 1).
3.3 standard solution
3.3.1 copper standard stock solution
Weigh 1.0000g copper (≥99.99%) in 200mL beaker, add 20mL of nitric acid (3.2.2), heat gently to dissolve completely, boil drive
In addition to oxides of nitrogen, cooled to room temperature. Moved into 1000mL volumetric flask, dilute with water to volume, and mix. 1mL solution containing 1mg of copper.
3.3.2 Copper standard solution
Pipette 10.00mL copper standard stock solution (3.3.1) in 100mL flask, make up 5mL hydrochloric acid was added (3.2.1), diluted with water
To the mark, and mix. This solution 1mL containing 100μg copper.
4 Instrument
Atomic absorption spectrometer, with copper hollow cathode lamp.
Under optimum working conditions for those who can reach the following indicators can be used.
--- Characteristic concentration. a solution in the measurement matrix consistent solution features copper concentration should not exceed 0.10μg/mL.
--- Precision. standard solution with the highest concentration of 10 times the absorbance measurements, the standard deviation should not exceed the average absorbance of 1.0%;
With the lowest concentration of standard solution (not "zero" concentration of the standard) measuring the absorbance of 10 times, the standard deviation should not exceed the maximum
0.5% concentration of the standard average absorbance.
--- Linear curve. The curve is divided into five sections according to concentration, absorbance difference between the absorbance difference between the highest and the lowest segment of the segment
Ratio of not less than 0.8.
Atomic absorption spectrometer reference operating conditions.
--- Wavelength 324.7nm;
