In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
a) Changed the terms "public geographic information" and "general map symbols", and decomposed the term "public places and service institutions" into "public facilities
Added the terms "Symbol Classification" and "Site" and "Service Organization" (see Chapter 3, Chapter 2 of the:2009 edition);
b) Expanded the categories and quantities of public geographic information symbols (see Appendix A~Appendix G, Appendix A of the:2009 edition);
c) The provision of "symbol orientation" (see 6:2) has been added, and the provision of "legend arrangement" (see 5:6 of the:2009 edition) has been deleted:
