Compared with GB/T 20190-2006, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The scope of application and detection limit have been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2006 edition);
b) Added a chapter on “Abbreviations” (see Chapter 4);
c) Added a chapter on “Real-time Fluorescence Polymerase Chain Reaction” (see Chapter 5);
d) The principles, reagents and materials, DNA extraction methods, PCR detection methods, and result interpretation of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method have been changed.
Definition and description of quality control (see Chapter 6, Chapters 3, 4, 6 and 7 of the.2006 edition);
e) Added a chapter on “Measures for the Prevention and Control of Laboratory Contamination” (see Chapter 7);
f) Added a chapter on “Hazardous Waste Disposal” (see Chapter 8);
g) Added internal reference genes and target gene sequences for PCR detection in cattle, sheep, and goats (see Appendix B).
