Cast iron pipes, fittings and accessories (see Chapter 1); ---A new chapter on "Terms and Definitions" has been added (see Chapter 3); ---The quality requirements for zinc-rich coatings have been revised, and GB/T 43492 has been added as a reference, supplementing the requirements for prefabricated insulated ductile iron pipes and fittings. Coating quality requirements for accessories (see 5.4, 4.4 in the.2010 edition); ---The reference standard for the test method of dry film thickness of the finishing coating has been changed to GB/T 13452.2 to adapt to my country's technical conditions and add [further details needed]. Operability (see 7.2.6, 6.2 in the.2009 edition). This document is modified to adopt ISO 8179-2.2017 "Ductile iron pipes, fittings and accessories and their joints - Zinc coating on the outer surface - Part 2" Part. Zinc-rich coating. The technical differences between this document and ISO 8179-2.2017, and the reasons therefor, are as follows. ---The scope requirements have been revised, and descriptions of technical requirements and test methods have been added to comply with national standard drafting requirements and to use normative... The referenced GB/T 13295 and GB/T 26081 replace ISO 2531 and ISO 7186, and the reference to GB/T has been added. 43492, ISO 16631 (see Chapter 1), which was normatively referenced in ISO 8179-2.2017, has been deleted to better suit my country's national conditions and to add... Operability; ---The quality requirements for zinc-rich coatings in section 5.4 have been revised, and a quality grading selection for zinc-rich coatings has been added. The requirement for weakly corrosive soils has been removed. The coating quality requirements under soil environmental conditions have been revised, adding quality requirements for zinc-rich coatings applied before the fabrication of insulation pipes, and also referencing... GB/T 43492 (see 5.4) meets the product usage needs of domestic users, making it clearer for users to choose products; ---The test method for the dry film thickness of the finishing coating in section 7.2 has been modified, and GB/T 13452.2 (see 7.2.6) has been added as a reference. The method has been refined to make it easier to operate. The following editorial changes have been made to this document. ---The file name has been modified, the connector description has been deleted, and a "with finishing layer" description has been added; ---The scope is described in segments according to the principles of national standard compilation; ---The requirements for finishing coating materials have been removed, as they are redundant with Chapter 4; ---The coating weight specification mentioned in "Note" in section 5.4 has been separated and included in the requirements; ---Move the "Note" in 7.1 to the end of clause 7.1; ---The "Note" in Appendix B has been moved to the end of Appendix B, and the quality of the standard coating in "Note" B.3 has been changed to correspond with 5.4 and comply with domestic standards. introduction

GB/T 17456 "Zinc-based coating on the outer surface of ductile iron pipes, fittings and accessories" specifies the finishing process for ductile iron pipes, fittings and accessories. Prior to coating, the relevant requirements and test methods for zinc metal and zinc alloys, as well as zinc-rich coatings, must be established for zinc with a finishing coating. The specifications for base-coated ductile iron pipes, fittings and accessories are detailed and are proposed to consist of two parts. ---Part 1.Metallic Zinc and Zinc Alloy Coatings with Finishing Layers. The aim is to establish suitable coatings for metallic zinc and zinc alloys used in factories. Technical requirements and test methods for alloy coating and finishing coating. ---Part 2.Zinc-rich coatings with finishing layers. The aim is to establish suitable methods for zinc-rich coatings and finishing processes applied in the factory. Technical requirements and test methods for coating application. Ductile iron pipes, fittings and accessories Zinc-based coating on outer surface, Part 2. Zinc-rich coating with finishing layer 1.Scope This document specifies the in-factory processing requirements for ductile iron pipes, fittings, and accessories as defined in GB/T 13295, GB/T 26081, and GB/T 43492. Technical requirements and test methods for zinc-rich coating and finishing coating on the outer surface of the product. This document applies to zinc-rich coatings with a finishing layer on the outer surface of ductile iron pipes, fittings, and accessories.
