Aside from adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The scope of application has been changed, and the scope of application of this document has been removed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2003 edition);
b) Add the terms and definitions for "painting operation" and "painting operation site" (see 3.1, 3.2);
c) The requirements for safety training have been changed (see 4.4, Chapter 16 of the.2003 edition);
d) The requirements for safety signs have been changed (see 4.5, Chapter 14 of the.2003 edition);
e) The requirements for personal protective equipment have been changed (see 4.6, Chapter 19 of the.2003 edition);
f) The requirements for occupational health management have been changed (see 4.7, Chapter 18 of the.2003 edition);

1 Scope
This document specifies the coatings and related chemicals involved in painting operations, painting processes, painting equipment and instruments, and safety procedures for painting work sites.
The basic requirements of comprehensive management.
This document applies to the safety management of coating operations on metal or non-metal surfaces using paints and related chemicals.
