The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 9724 and GA/T 242 apply to this document.
4 principles
4.1 Measuring principle of pH meter or pH test paper
Measure the concentration of hydrogen ions in the solution with a pH meter or pH test paper.
4.2 Measuring principle of hydrochloride ion (chloride ion), sulfate ion and nitrate ion
4.2.1 Chemical methods
Chemical test of chloride ion (Cl-). Chloride ion can react with silver nitrate solution to form a white precipitate which is insoluble in nitric acid.
Starch can be dissolved in ammonia water.
Cl- Ag →AgCl↓(white)
AgCl 2NH3·H2O→Ag(NH3)2Cl 2H2O
Chemical examination of sulfate ion (SO42-). Sulfate ion can react with barium chloride solution to form white precipitate which is insoluble in hydrochloric acid
starch.
Ba2 SO42- → BaSO4↓ (white)
Chemical inspection of nitrate ion (NO3-). There are usually two chemical inspection methods for the inspection of nitrate, which are.
a) Under acidic conditions, the zinc powder in the nitrate powder reagent reduces nitrate ions to nitrite ions, nitrite ions and nitric acid
The p-aminobenzenesulfonic acid in the acid radical powder reagent reacts to generate p-benzenesulfonic acid diazonium salt, and then reacts with the menaphthylamine in the nitrate powder reagent,
Generate red azo dyes, the depth of red is related to the nitrate content in the leaching solution, most of them are orange red;
b) Nitric acid can react with strychnine to produce red color.
