1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, basic technical requirements and test methods, inspection rules, delivery preparation, user service requirements for control motors and their combinations (hereinafter referred to as motors). This standard provides basic technical requirements and test methods for motors for organizations which have the following needs. a) It is necessary to prove that the motor product has the ability to meet the requirements of users and applicable laws and regulations; b) Ordering or product acceptance; c) Inspection basis; d) Government or industry regulation of product quality. When the optional provisions in this standard are not applicable due to the characteristics of the motor product, they can be deleted. However, the deletion cannot affect the ability or responsibility to prove that the motor product meets the requirements of users and applicable laws and regulations. The test methods specified in this standard are commonly used; users of the standard are allowed to choose and use them. This standard specifies the basic requirements for motors. When there are special requirements, especially for electronic drives, the manufacturer shall formulate special technical conditions. This standard shall be used together with the general technical conditions or special technical conditions for motors. This standard is applicable to various control motors and their combinations; general- purpose motors can also be adopted by reference.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions as established in GB/T 2900.26, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this standard. 3.1 Electrical machine for automatic control system Various motors, motor components, systems used for status monitoring, signal processing or servo drive in automatic control systems. Examples. Synchro, rotary transformer, induction phase shifter, induction synchronizer, shaft angle encoder, tachogenerator, servo motor, stepper motor, torque motor, hysteresis synchronous motor, ultrasonic motor, permanent magnet brushless motor system, etc. 3.2 Organization A group of people or individuals whose responsibilities, authorities, relationships are arranged. Examples. Manufacturers, agents, users, testing agencies, government organizations, etc. 3.3 Manufacturer Individuals or organizations that design, produce or assemble and sell motors. 3.4 Transporter An organization or individual that ships a manufacturer's motors to users. 3.5 Frame size The code used when motors are classified according to their overall dimensions or shaft center height. 3.6 Reliability The ability of a motor to complete specified functions within a specified period of time and under specified operating conditions.

4 Categories

4.1 Model designation The motor model designation method shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 10405. 4.2 Basic appearance structure and installation type The basic appearance structure and installation type of the motor shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 7346. 4.3 Frame size The frame size of the motor shall meet the following requirements. 4.4 Rated voltage and rated frequency Unless otherwise specified, the rated voltage and rated frequency of the motor shall be selected from Table 1.

5 Technical requirements and test methods

5.1 Appearance 5.1.1 Technical requirements The surface of the motor shall be free of rust, bumps, scratches, coating peeling; the color shall be correct; the markings shall be clear and unmistakable. 5.2 Nameplate 5.2.1 Technical requirements The motor shall have a nameplate, which shall comply with the nameplate-related requirements in GB/T 7346 and the durability requirements in GB 18211-2000. 5.3 Lead wires or terminals 5.3.1 Technical requirements 5.3.2 Test methods 5.3.2.1 Lead wire Put the lead-out end of the motor's lead wire downward. Apply the force specified in 5.3.1.2 vertically downward on the terminal. When applying force, the conductor core and insulation layer shall be evenly stressed. The force shall be applied in all directions for 5 s ~ 10 s. 5.4 Appearance and installation dimensions 5.4.1 Technical requirements The manufacturer shall stipulate the appearance and installation dimensions of the motor. The appearance and installation dimensions shall comply with the general technical conditions or special technical conditions of the motor. Unless otherwise specified, the manufacturer shall deliver the appearance and installation dimensions drawings when delivering the motor. 5.5 Radial clearance 5.6 Axial clearance 5.6.1 Technical requirements The axial clearance of the motor is related to the axial dimensional matching accuracy of the motor, the elasticity of the axial washer, and the axial force. When required, the manufacturer shall specify the axial clearance and axial force of the motor shaft. The axial clearance shall comply with the general technical conditions or special technical conditions of the motor. 5.7 Shaft extension radial circular runout 5.7.1 Technical requirements The radial circular runout of the shaft extension of the motor is related to the radial matching size of the motor and the machining accuracy of the outer circle of the installation stop. When required, the manufacturer shall specify the radial circular runout of the shaft extension. The radial circular runout of the shaft extension shall comply with the general technical conditions or special technical conditions of the motor. 5.15 Impedance 5.15.1 Technical requirements Impedance is a unique technical parameter of an AC motor. Group C inspection shall be carried out when one of the following circumstances occurs. d) When the product manufacturing location changes. 6.2.2 Number of prototypes Six prototypes are randomly selected from the batch of products, four of which are used for appraisal inspection, whilst the other two are kept for later use. 6.2.3 Inspection procedures The appraisal inspection items, basic sequence, prototype number are determined by the general technical conditions of various types of motors, with reference to Table 13. 6.2.4 Evaluation of inspection results 6.2.4.1 Qualified If all items of the prototype used for appraisal inspection meet the requirements, the appraisal inspection will be qualified. 6.2.4.3 Accidental failure When the appraisal department determines that a certain unqualified item of the motor is an isolated accidental failure, it is allowed to take a spare prototype from each submitted prototype to replace the failed prototype, to make up all the items before the failure occurred (including the time of failure). Then continue the test. If any item of another prototype does not meet the requirements, the appraisal inspection will fail. 6.2.5 Appraisal inspection of products of the same type When two or more motor models of a certain type with the same frame size are submitted for appraisal inspection at the same time, four prototypes of each model shall be submitted. All prototypes shall pass the Group A inspection in quality consistency; 6.3 Quality consistency inspection Quality consistency inspection is divided into Group A and Group C inspection. a) Group A inspection is an exit-factory inspection, which is conducted to verify whether motor products meet conventional quality requirements; b) Group C inspection is a periodic inspection. 6.3.1 Group A inspection The Group A inspection items and basic sequence shall be carried out as specified in Table 13. 6.3.2 Group C inspection The items and basic sequence of Group C inspection shall be carried out as specified in Table 13. 6.3.2.1 Inspection timing and cycle In any of the following situations, Group C inspection shall generally be carried out. 6.3.2.2 Inspection rules The items and basic sequence of Group C inspection shall be carried out in accordance with Table 13.
