This Standard replaces JB/T 9542-1999, Specification for two-value capacitor asynchronous motors. Compared with JB/T 9542-1999, the major technical changes are as follows. -- it adds the requirements for motors of frame size 112; -- it adds the requirements for power level 3,700 W; -- it adds the requirements for IP54 and IP55; -- it adds insulation endurance class 155 (F) in 4.9; -- it deletes the content of 4.12 ~ 4.16 of the former standard. The same as GB 12350, it adds in 4.20 that “the safety items nor covered in this Standard shall be as specified in GB 12350”; -- it deletes the content of 7.5 and 7.6 of the former standard and adds in 7.4 that “the packaging, transportation and storage of motors shall be as specified in GB/T 5171.1”; -- it deletes the requirements for warranty period in Clause 8 of the former standard. This Standard was proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation. This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee 26 on Rotating Electrical Machines of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 26).
