This Standard specifies the colour determination method of plasticizers. This Standard applies to the plasticizers, including phthalate esters, sebacic acid esters, adipic acid esters, triphenyl phosphate, tricresyl phosphate, chlorinated paraffin-52, and other transparent liquid.2 Principle

Unit of platinum-cobalt colour. The solution colour refers to the colour shown when there are 1mg of platinum in the form of chloroplatinic acid and 2mg of cobalt chloride hexahydrate in per liter of solution.4 Reagents
