1 Scope
This section YS/T 861 provides for aluminum, nickel, silicon, iron, chromium, copper, tantalum content determination of niobium titanium alloy.
This section applies to the determination of niobium-titanium alloy of aluminum, nickel, silicon, iron, chromium, copper, tantalum content, the measurement range shown in Table 1.

2 Method summary
Sample decomposition with hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid. Solution directly to the argon plasma excitation source, subjected to spectral measurement, calculated from the measured elements

3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated, this part of the reagents are excellent pure reagent, which is a water or equivalent purity water.
3.1 Hydrofluoric acid (ρ = 1.14g/mL).
3.2 nitric acid (ρ = 1.42g/mL).

3.9 standard aluminum stock solution. Weigh 1.0000g of aluminum (wAl≥99.99%), placed in 250mL beaker covered with a watch glass, add
100mL of hydrochloric acid (3.3), a low temperature to dissolve. Until completely dissolved and then cooled and transferred to 1000mL volumetric flask, dilute with water to volume, and mix.
